MATCHAMS CJSSC May 30, 2006

Hi Every one had a chance to ride Matchams on the 28/29 May. Its a long journey from Yorkshire 265 miles. We had decided that we would ride with Cambidge Club as the YMSA had canceld the meeting at Pontrallis due to heavy rain, and this would give Alex the chance to ride in the 125 two stroke class only on a world class GP Circuit. With 25 riders on the gate it was going to be a tough one. The first race Alex had a good start and was running top 10 then having 2 crashes he came back to finnish 7th. Race 2 good start working his way up to 1 st then a mistake forced him back to finninsh 3 rd. The 3rd race once again having to work hard from a midd pack start to finnish 4th, on the day this gave Alex a 4th overall. Day two 1st race Alex had a good start leading for the first two laps then a crash put him back to 15 th he had to work hard once more over a very rough track to put in a top 5 finnish.Race 2 once again a good start putting him in the top five soon pulled through to 2 nd and having a bar to bar battle with the leader crossing the line in second. The last race of the day Alex was in second battling with the leader to finnish 2 nd by a bike length. We had a great days racing with a 2 nd overall for the day. We are now looking forward to our next club championship meeting at Midenhall.

AMCA CAISTOR April 5, 2006

First time out with the AMCA 125 Experts this year.Having only 23 125 experst and 14 open experts we where put together. The rain came down for the first moto, which made it a slippery race. Once again i was the only 125 2 stroke on the gate, i had a good first race with a 5 th in the 125 class and a 8 th overall. Second race was very much the same as the track was a bit dryer it made for a good race and i had the same result. At the end of the day i had a 6 th overall.mx trainning 010.jpg

VALE MX ARMTHORPE March 15, 2006

As our first chapionship round with Stevenage SSC 12.3.06, was canceld so we headed of to ride with the Vale MXC at Armthorpe.Sunday morning i walked the track and it was very slippery on top but it should be ok after the first block of racing.I was to race with the 125 Schoolboys. The first race i had a bad start but worked my way back to 5 th then i started to have problems with the bike. This was due to a stone jamming the brake pedal it caused me to come of three times on conners and i finnished 6 th. The second race i had a better start and worked my way to third and holding this through the race even though i had problems with my goggles it was a good race and i was pleased with my overall performance on the day with a 2 nd overal finnish.
